For reference, my measurements are 44, 34, 44 - that's me using a measuring tape and pulling until it meets, but not pulling to where there's an indention of any kind. I normally wear size 12 or 14 in pants/jeans, or large or x-large. I've been working out and losing weight and inches so it's been hard to find the right jeans. I FOUND THEM. I've bought 2 pairs of these jeans (31 regular - too long, and 32 short - gets loose after wearing them; both are Spitfire) to decide which fit better.... and the winner is... 31 Short! There is no spillage over the waistline. They fit my short, curvy figure just right! I will say though that i did have a tummy tuck so that may help with any spillage, but i do have some pudge here and there that these jeans hold in nicely and in all the right places.So I have been looking everywhere for bootcut jeans, I'm sick of skinny jeans all the time. I came across these and after looking at the questions to determine my size I chose the 28R to be safe. I normally wear a size 3, 4, 5, or 6 depending on brands, so I figured based off what Amazon recommended and what I saw in the reviews 28R would work well for me. One of the things I noticed once I got them was that 28R was slightly looser on me, but I'm keeping them, I love the fit. The length was three inches too long for me so I hemmed them to fit me better. And here's the catch, the pockets. THEY FIT MY WHOLE HAND!!! The next pair I get I'm going to try a size 27R and see how well those fit. I have no problems with the loose fit of a 28R, but that's me personally.I would recommend to try a 27R if you're around my size. But I can't say 100% due to only knowing the 28R.I will never buy another pair of normal jeans ever again. Ariat jeans just fit way too well and the pickets actually work. Normal jeans don’t really have pockets, they have fashion skits. Another thing normal jeans don’t have are adequate belt loop holes. Ariat has me covered belly to butt crack with their abundance of belt loop holes. Can a girl ask for anything else?These jeans exceeded my expectations. Great fit. Great fabric. Love the style and cut. Awesome stitching. The length of the fly is generous and is the sign of well made jeans. The size, placement and embroidered design on the rear pockets is flattering.Highly recommend!For my daughter in size 0If you're looking for jeans to wear with cowboy boots, these are great! I'm 5'8" and about 155 lbs with long legs so it can be hard to find a pair of jeans that are long enough to wear with boots plus fit my waist. I ordered size 30 long and they're perfect!Good quality! Seem to be very durable. Only one issue and it's an unusual one. Lol There is a strange smell coming from them. I thought it might just be starch or something like that but I have washed them a total of 5 times in the week that I have had them and the smell is still there. I have tried hot,cold water, double the detergent, and even baking soda. Nothing seems to be helping. And no it's not my washing machine cause everything else smells fine. It's actually very overpowering and I really want to wear them out and about but I don't want to have people thinking I smell weird. I'm still working on getting rid of the odor and will update if I do or don't get rid of it.Love them! Will buy again!These are a nice thick material, well made and a nice colour. I think they're good value even with the cost of import from America.My only criticism is that they are larger than expected. I'm size 10/12 UK (depending on the make), so after reading, reviews got the 29L which should be a UK size 10.The leg length is ok but they are a bit large in the waist hips and legs.I still intend to wear them, but they would fall down without a belt. I think I would get a size 28 in future.So one star knocked off for this reason.I liked the look of these bootcut jeans specifically to ride in. However the photo is a little misleading as they are quite baggy and not fitted in the upper part of the leg as expected. The quality is fine but overall too lose to comfortably ride in.received a water bottle. Clearly not a pair of jeans.... where are my jeans.Perfect fit and good price. Delivery within specified time.Really pleased lovely jeans great fit
